Youth Forum on Climate Change and Global Warming

Youth Forum on Climate Change and Global Warming will be held at Indian National Academy, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi, April 21 – 23, 2009. The aim of the Forum is to provide opportunity to young people to enhance climate literacy and develop programme of action on Global Warming. The objectives are: a) To promote 'Environmental Literacy' among students and youth on issues of Climate Change and Global Warming b) To enhance environmental activities while popularizing 'Scientific Method' with scientific spirit c) To bring together leading experts in the field of science education and communication to discuss and bring forward solutions for problems of Global Warming d) To develop actions and programmes which youth can take up as follow-up on Climate Change e) To develop resource material and report on Role of Youth on Climate Change
