National Conference on Disaster Management

The Asian Institute of Management & Technology, Dhaurang, Yamuna Nagar is organizing a National Conference on "Disaster Management" during 22-24 February 2009. The objectives of the conference are: (a) To make people aware of these disasters and disaster prevention, mitigation and preparedness. (b) To share recent experiences of major disasters, how they were tackled and what were the lessons learnt. (c) To get acquainted with recent developments in technology and other knowledge that can aid prevention and mitigation of disaster. (d) To make a future road map on disaster management for India. (e) To draft recommendations for a global policy in saving the earth and its environment from natural disasters.
