The Seminar will be held in Port Blair, Andaman Islands, India on the 29th and 30th of January, 2009.The National Water Seminar is designed to bring together Government, NGOs and people from the grass roots level to examine the complexities of providing potable water in an island environment. The three focuses of the Seminar will be water resource development, water quality and community managed water supply systems. Experts from island nations with similar geography and water issues will be invited to share their findings. The Seminar will include a plenary session in which ways of implementing the findings can be discussed.
